Once we’ve received your order, we take your specifications to our Cutting department. Using some of the most advanced methods, our Rail Cutters, Stile Cutters, and Louver Cutters cut the beautiful North American Basswood into links for each shutter.
The Assembly table is where each piece of wood that will go into your shutters meets. The pieces are glued and doweled together to make one shutter.
At the Sanding station, the shutters are quality checked and sanded. We ensure the shutters are operational; that they move properly and are stapled correctly.
At the Priming station, we prime your shutters using lacquer-based product, which we believe is better than water. Then we hand sand the primer, and do a finishing quality check.
In the Paint shop, we paint your shutters over two days with two coats of oil-based paint in your specified custom colors. In between coats of paint, quality checked again.
Our shutters are packed with care and shipped directly to you. During packing process, your selected hardware choice is included in the shipment. The result? Some of the highest quality plantation shutter window treatments available at factory-direct prices.
